BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is terrible my rent started at $95 a month for a 10x20 unit and they raised the rent each month for 6months with my rent and the end being $185 even though they promised me the rent wouldn't be raised at all. They finally terminated my lease because my vehicle broke down inside the gate and once i finally got it fixed it was after 9pm and they gave me 3 days to get all of my stuff out. This was also in the middle of the month that i had paid for the full month and refused to refund me for the remainder of the month. The office people are fake and tell you its no big deal and send you a "courtesy reminder" making you believe that they understand the situation and its no big deal. Then they wont call you, they will tape a termination of lease with a 3 day notice to vacate your unit. I imagine its them hoping you wont see it so they can try to auction your belongings. Also they tried to offer me 25% off my 2nd months rent if i left them a 5star review ... Read more

I’ve been with Public Storage since 2017. I had a smaller unit, originally and in 2020 went to a larger unit that only cost $160 a month at the time. That unit now costs $387 a month to rent, per the recent price increase. Bait and switch type tactics, where you think you’ll be rewarded for being loyal but instead the price just continues to go up and up and up, regardless of being a veteran or being hospitalized. I asked for a 6 month deferral for this price increase and have yet to hear back several days later. Do I think the employees do what they can and are nice? I do, this is straight up corporate greed and I’m extremely disappointed in how Public Storage does business and will be posting in several veteran Facebook and local groups about this treatment. $160-$387, in 4.5 years, there’s literally no justification for this. It’s not climate controlled, they don’t have extreme increases in their operating costs, they just want to gouge. It’s truly sickening and had they not pulled the bait and switch pricing a few years ago I’d be in a locally owned storage unit for about $100 a month less in pricing. Greedy corporate management. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 3436 Sinton Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 6 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 3436 Sinton Road start from $27 and can go up to $309 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
