The lack of communication from management is ridiculous. Storage unit was broken into several weeks ago. I had no idea until I needed acess. Responding officer informed me I wasn't the only one and someone was suppose to contact me. Stuff was stolen still no word from them or insurance. They are quick to charge the rent though. I have called and stopped by the facility with no luck. I needed to clean up the unit to make a detailed list of what was stolen. To my surprise my code was not working and my account was closed without notice. I've lost money , time and my items. Hope someone sees this and actually does something about it. Soapbox is the storage of my choice! In November, I needed a storage and I chose Snapbox. I wanted somewhere quiet, clean and affordable. I placed my items in storage and that was the greatest choice i ever made. Months later i received a letter stating Snapbox was changing ownership. That was fine with me! I later went by the storage to get some items and met the manager. I felt right at home! After a couple conversations with her i had some changes that we had discussed and it was immediately taken care of. I wasn't sure what the complete changes were so i decided to give the call center a call. I thought i'd be on hold forever, but little did i know it was only a few minutes of being on hold. And to my surprise the most wonderful call representative Laura answered and i told her what I needed to clarify and sure enough she went to work making sure everything was handled in a most kind and efficient manner. I had a horrible experience with CJ, the manager at the Leon Circle location. I went in to inquire about a storage unit. We had a pleasant conversation about him being from Pine Bluff and knowing a cousin of mine. We got on the golf cart and looked at a 10x20 unit. It hadn't been swept out and I asked if this would be the one I'm renting. He replied that it would be cleaned or I would be assigned another unit. Upon return to the office, he looked up some numbers and gave me a price (around $71 per month) and a business card. Once I settled business with the two storages I had in Pine Bluff, I called CJ back to inform him of my move in date on Saturday, October 5th and to inquire about payment. He told me that I could pay on that date. I asked what time the office closed, he said 3pm. I then asked, what if I return after 3pm. He responded, just call, I don't live far. (I'm assuming he checks work messages frequently.) ?? So, doing as I was told, we show up to Snapbox on Leon Circle around 6pm. Of course, the business is closed and I try several times to contact someone and left messages for CJ, the manager. We noticed a black car with Tennessee tags, parked on the outside of the gate with orange parking barricades around it. Then pulls up a white car with female driver and CJ in the passenger seat, and oh....... it's his car! When I reminded him of our encounter and if I can have access to my unit, he said, "we're closed." I attempted to jog his memory of our conversations as he continued to get in his car! I asked him what I was supposed to do, here I am with a 20' U-Haul truck and no storage space! He said his keys were in pine bluff and it wasn't his problem! I also asked him for his manager/supervisor, he referred me to an 800# on the bldg wall. He then got in his black car with the young lady in the white car, trailing behind him, leaving me panicked and in awe of what had just taken place. Rude, uncaring and disrespectful. ?????? I was also out of an extra fee for the U-Haul truck, having to keep it for another day until I could find another storage unit. ... Read more
