Customer service is lacking They are on a power trip. Parked by my storage unit before walking up to the office, and their employee started yelling out the window at me. Policy is you must sign in before entering your unit, which is what I was attempting to do before being yelled at. Even now, I am dumbfounded by the way I was treated. It was enough motivation to empty my storage unit the same day. My suggestion for them would be to walk outside and talk to customer. Not to scream out an open window. ... Read more

One time when I stopped by I accidentally forgot to sign in at the office. The lady came looking for me to make sure I wasn't some creep lurking around the units. That's how safe this place is! (I'll never make that mistake again lol) I've always felt like my unit was well watched over. I would use this place again in the future no questions asked! ... Read more

Extremely fair prices and rules, and I loved that they are nice and tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood, all of their units are well maintained, I have used their fenced in units along with their 24 hour units. Their staff is always happy to help and are a very easy bunch to get along with. I like that they live on the lot so you know your stuff is being watched over, not just video taped. Great, I would use them again in a heartbeat! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Wasilla Mini Storage - 700 Stormy Circle include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
