I am glad I chose Central Mini Storage to store my household items. It was good to know that I could access my unit 24/7 and not have to worry about getting there only during certain hours. I also felt my belongings were safe and secure because of their security system where they have each unit individually alarmed. Each renter has their own code to open and close the gate. When they enter that code it only turns off the security for their door(s), not the entire complex. When they use the code to open the gate to leave, it turns the security on their door back on. The aisles were wide enough for a large truck and I could drive right up to my door. There was no need to haul my items down a hall or to another level. The unit was clean and well lit. The owner was friendly and honest. He was always available to answer questions or assist if needed. I'll definitely rent from them again if I need storage space in the future. ... Read more

I see a lot of great reviews and none of them have anything about mice in them so I must be the lucky one! I rented a storage for my 2 bedroom apartments belongings for a little over a year and just emptied it out to find almost half of my things ruined by mice droppings, urine and chewed up clothes, totes, furniture, etc. I was out of state so didn’t have a way to check on it. So I basically paid $100 a month for my things to be completely ruined and had to fit another bill to bring it all to the landfill. What a waste! ... Read more

I’ve rented a unit from Central MIni Storage for about 2 years. Pat has always been awesome to deal with. Never once did I have to worry about my belongings, the security in place to safe guard each unit reassured me. I absolutely will go back if I ever need to get another storage unit. - Thank you so much to Pat & your family for your services! Billy & Brandie ... Read more

large facility with a variety of unit sizes available. slightly more expensive than I thought necessary for a location that has to schedule a meeting with the owner/manager....seems like a burden on the owner in order for us to pay our unit rental fee in cash because we hadn't had bank cards issued yet to where we were able to pay fee online. owner closely monitors the comings and goings of the gate and is quick to accuse renters of causing problems with his fence if he doesn't see you get your unit door open as soon as you arrive....but refuses to look at the example or explanation given for the reasons why you may have taken a little bit of extra time to get doors opened up and entered unit. ... In the past thirty five years we have used storage units for our business. At times I have had to rent as many as forty units to keep up. I have experience with dozens of owners and this is the best managed I have ever seen. The security and access are top notch and I trust them totally. It's very nice in Alaska to have light in the units in the Winter. These units were built and are maintained by the owner so they are well maintained and if you need help it's the owner you deal with rather than some employee, First Class operation all the way. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Central Mini Storage - 4741 Fattic Drive include the following amenities: Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 320 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Central Mini Storage - 4741 Fattic Drive start from $35 and can go up to $200 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
