I have asked that my air conditioner unit be changed out to a bigger unit. Due to the size of the property the air conditioner can NOT keep the house below the ambient temperature outside. It’s 9:00 pm and it’s 80 degrees inside. The current temperature out side is 70 degrees. The air conditioner unit runs consistently and only shuts off when it over heats from running all day. The beaker kicks and I have to manually restart the breaker. This has also caused my utility bills to increase dude to the unit running constantly. I also have a back yard gate that hasn’t been fixed since we signed the renters agreement 1.5 years ago. We also have a garage door that does not work. Typically a contractor has come to the property to diagnose the problem. It’s days later until someone actually fixes the issue with a bandaid. This has been my experience with Utilities and Maintenance. The only time making contact with First Key is speedy, is if it’s pay/ rent related and they contact you. If you miss a payment or are late, the response is quick.
