Over paying Rent

The amenities in the rental do not equal those in the neighborhood. We are paying more and have 1980 master bathroom, Formica countertops in the kitchen, carpet in bedrooms that should be changed as it is over 10 years or more old. Paying over 2600 dollars in monthly rent, should equate significant upgrades from what we now have.

Lived here for over 2 years. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, beaches. The amenities are mediocre. No garbage disposal, No closet space in master bedroom. Master bathroom is very small. Outdated fixtures in kitchen and bathrooms. Trees need to be trimmed despite numerous requests to maintenance office. A/C vents need cleaning. Paying over 2300 a month and the amenities does not warrant the price. Cost of rent has increased 300 dollars in 2 years.

Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL Increase in overall rent value 2021-2022: 30.7% Median rent cost (February 2022): $1,722 Population: 3,030,047 Percentage of renters: 48.7% In 2 years of living in this neighborhood, the rent has increased $400. The amenities do not equal the increases. Using your NY based market analysts to recommend the increases is a joke. There are no houses in this neighborhood of this sq. footage and # of bed and baths, the nearest is 20 blocks way yet here we are. Problem is there is no supply to move to so it's either First Key's way or hit the road. No type of negotiation with First Key or appreciation / reward for long standing renters who pay on time, etc. Pretty pathetic and typical of a large corporate business.

Quality Home Great Location

Renting our home in the neighborhood we now reside is one of the best decisions our family made. We've lived in the home for over 2 years and enjoy the space, the location, proximity to restaurants, groceries, stores, beaches, etc. We live in a more established neighborhood so the homes are well kept, having live oaks covering our drive in and out of the neighborhood while we drive on brick roads makes living in this area that more special.
