Read some helpful reviews of Storage Sense at 2401 Anvil Street North, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

A friend and I share a couple of storage units. They initially had a low price for rental of each units ( we got each unit about five months apart) and have the introductory specials, but it seems like within 5 months or so each unit rental has gone up and continue to go up without any warning. When first rented the units there was an on-site person, they no longer have that person there. You only can call a customer service line. Trying to get in contact with the manager is very difficult because he can only be contacted by email. I've gotten only a couple of responses back regarding concerns and questions over that last few weeks trying to resolve the concerns I have. I called the customer service line they offer and the customer service person said the manager does not have a contact number and I have to contact him via email and they said they can only contact the manager via email too becuase that they don't have a phone number for him which I thought was odd. I asked if there was someone above the manager to address my questions and concerns and they said a district manager and that person can only be contacted through the manager. I like that the space is air-conditioned, but at this time I would not recommend this place. I feel a place with an on-site person or a company that has a person or people who can assist with customer needs and make you feel like they want to keep your business is a place to go. I will update my review if anything gets better. ... Read more

i have been with extra closet for over 20 yrs. this idea of virtual stinks. there should be an attendant there every weekday. its not safe to be there alone anymore. worst idea to eliminate the office manager. just another low end storage facility. a shelter for the homeless. not safe at all you took away the good things for technoogy. shootin yourself in the foot. ... Used to be attended, now no attendant without any notice or notification. Access codes were changed without any notice at all, had to call and get new codes. Unsafe building littered by homeless behind building and restrooms are now locked. Prices went up, how about a price reduction for the terrible experience. You can't charge as much as other storage facilities and not provide the same quality and experience. (Updated after reply) No notice was sent out that is incorrect and why bother emailing a generic info@ email address, poor service ... Read more

Brett has been so accommodating during such a rough period after the double hurricanes. I was finally able to move my contents into a storage unit. When I got there I realized I needed a larger unit and one was available. The storage facility is dry and climate controlled giving me peace of mind while our house is rebuilt. ... Read more

I needed climate controlled storage for my books and artwork while downsizing homes. Storage Sense was exactly what I was looking for at a very reasonable price. I was REALLY happy with the introduction of the key cards, allowing me access at hours more convenient for me. Also, the two gentlemen manning the front desk (the first [Jeff?] moved to a different facility when mine became Storage Sense) were absolute gems. Always polite and so helpful & courteous. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Sense - 2401 Anvil Street North include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 24 to 144 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Sense - 2401 Anvil Street North start from $15 and can go up to $166 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
