Home was not in good repair or condition when moving in. However, we had already moved out of previous home or we would have backed out. Contractors were trying to "fix" what wasn't done by previous team First Key worked with. We required treatment for termites within first few months of living in home. The home was what many consider the "landlord" special, nothing compared to other homes listed on their site. Paint is poorly done, mismatch repairs throughout on cabinets that are original to the 50 year old home. Cheap blinds that cracked and broke just when dusting them, request for replacement refused. Cheap carpet that has worn through in high traffic areas. There is a tree stump in the back yard that takes up most of its usable space, request to have it removed was refused. When signing additional lease the last year, asked for replacement flooring, was refused. This home has a nice layout, but needs a lot of updating. Maybe they will do better for the next tenant. It is priced higher for us than many homes on the First Key Website in similar areas and for homes with similar square footage.
