Maintenance is always quick at fixing things when requested. Sometimes the building could be cleaned better. Overall not a bad place to live

I have enjoyed my 5 years living in this community. Staff is helpful and are great to work with. Maintenance is always swift on getting your requests fulfilled. Noise within the apartment itself is virtually zero. The few amenities offered are underwhelming. The gym is too small, I think they should expand and add a some machines. Same goes for the club house. No pool, no package lockers. Things like these would be nice but the value of this apartment is in location and service.

Pros -Awesome location in downtown SLC -Building is usually clean (see more below) -Maintenance is prompt, efficient, and friendly -Staff are friendly, informative, and respond quickly to inquiries -Pet friendly -Building is very secure -Was very quiet until the dude below me moved in and started blasting ska music at 3AM -Large, rentable outdoor patio + gym -Friendly neighbors. I'm a recluse, but I imagine that's a good selling point if you're social or have kids -Management is awesome; they have resources for you to check out if you're struggling to pay rent Cons -Neighborhood has become pretty trashed since CoVID- it looks like something out of a post-apocalyptic movie or a Fallout game -Idiots keep tossing their cigarettes/flamables in recycling bin, resulting in fires 1-3 times a year -HUD determines the rent and they seem wildly out of touch with what passes as "affordable housing," for low-income tenants (they raised the rent twice over an 8-month period during the height of the pandemic, for instance) -No guest parking available; street parking is hard to find -Only one parking space per unit. If you have more than one car per household, tough break- you need to rent from another tenant -Many of the tenants DO NOT respect the masking/social distancing mandates; if you are immunocompromised, you need to be extremely careful or find another arrangement altogether -People (mainly, those with young children) will literally use the elevator like a toilet; after 3 years, I've become way too desensitized to seeing human waste on the lifts Except the elevator, the property is clean. Staff is cool, even though they act like glorified baby sitters to childish tenants. 3/5
