Veterans and Community Housing (VCH) is designed to serve both veterans and non-veterans, with at least 51% of the apartments occupied by veterans. VCH is housing for sober, drug-free veterans and other individuals. These affordable efficiency apartments are specifically designed to provide permanent housing. Its close proximity to the Veteran's Affairs campus makes it ideal for our veteran residents to access and connect with VA services and information. The property is located next to beautiful Minnehaha Park, is on the light rail line which serves as an link to shopping, restaurants, Mall of America, the airport and downtown Minneapolis. The fully equipped apartments have full kitchens and baths and heat is include in the rent. A large community is available to all residents as well as a computer resource room.

Location!
Location, Location, Location!! I am an outdoorsman and am able to hike on the Mississippi river and Pike Island behind thr place (just as i did as a teenager in the late ‘80s. And as a result, still feel like im in my mid 20s ;) Now if only some residents (including my neighbor) could just be reminded that this is “CLEAN AND SOBER Housing” so as not to cause any temptation for other veterans or residents.

Nice place to live
I've enjoyed living here. The folks that work in the office and do maintenance have always been great. Any time I've needed anything they were on top of it right away. I genuinely believe they care about their residents well being. Parking is much better since the office cracked down on non-residents using our parking lot. Also, as a veteran, it's nice to live in a place where there are a lot of other veterans who understand issues that I deal with. I'm happy I'm still living here.
