Things have improved but with the building being brand new there was a lot of chaos the first year. I have heard neighbors talk about damage to their cars in the garage and the police were around more than a few times. Trash management and cleanliness was a problem and recycling dumpsters still go to landfill despite separate chutes. Management sometimes seems understaffed/overworked and it can be difficult to get a response for non-emergencies. There were several fire alarms over the first year and the volume in the hallways is so high even compared to other alarms it can cause hearing loss or physical pain. You have to pass directly under the alarms to exit and if you live at the back of the building would have to walk the length of the building to exit the property from the front. There is no exit from the back of the property, so if you don't have a car you will need to walk four or five blocks to get around the fence that separates it from the stores about 30 feet away. As of February 2024, Things seem to have calmed down. Landscaping was added to beautify the property. South facing apartments get fantastic sunlight from large windows. The soundproofing is good. There are classes and other assistance programs promoted by flyers in visible spots and a number of comfortable places to hang out around the building. The apartments themselves are very nice with great climate control/insulation. Overall this is one of the nicest single bedrooms I've ever lived in. Rent everywhere is just painfully expensive, and for the issues mentioned before, 1856 for a single bedroom feels very high.

NEEDS A POOL!! Besides that....GREAT!! Wonderful maintenance, staff and even a clubhouse. Awesome parking, even a dog park. And security is top notch as well! Good coverage of cameras to protect our cars, the residents and your packages through the mail! And directly next to downtown Olde Town! What more can you ask for!?......A....POOL.....

Everything is new and updated . You can hear everything going on inside peoples apartments in the hallway but if your in your apartment you cant hear anything outside . A lot of cop traffic tho

I had lived here since February. It's a nice apartment building. The maintenance woman (Jennifer) truly does everything in her capacity to keep the place clean, well maintained and working. I appreciate all her efforts. The noise at times gets out of hand. The Code4 Security staff is not up to par. The company car will be parked in the parking lot but most of the time there is not staff on site. When calling the Code4 security, there is a guy who is not helpful what so ever. I've called numerous times about noise complaints and this guy told me at once "the noise has to be louder than xxx decibels" as well as "the Code4 staff can go to the tenants to door to tell them to respect quiet hours but if they don't hear noise from the door they don't have to knock on the door" and "you can move out". I do not see the point of having this "resource" on site. The cops are on property almost every other night.
