Pioneer Village will be a multi-generational affordable housing community developed by National CORE and Linc Housing. This development will provide 340 high-quality apartment homes for individuals, families and seniors earning no more than 80 percent of the area median income (AMI). Of the 340 homes, 92 will be reserved for seniors 62 or older, 245 homes will serve low-income families and individuals and three homes will be for onsite management. Residents of Pioneer Village will be within walking distance of Fremont Park and the Glendale Beeline Bus Route 5 stop at Doran/Pacific. The community is also within a one-mile radius of the Glendale Central Library, Glendale Family Medical Center, grocery stores, restaurants and pharmacies.
