5 Top Elementary Schools in Pittsburgh

When it comes to elementary schools, the top 5 all have a rating of 9 out of 10 on GreatSchools.org. Howe Elementary and Jefferson Elementary Schools are both located in the Mt. Lebanon School District. Next is Peebles Elementary School located in the North Park neighborhood, which is part of the North Allegheny District.

The final two top elementary schools are both part of the North Hills School District and the Riverview Park neighborhood. They are Ross Elementary and Mcintyre Elementary Schools.

5 Top Middle Schools in Pittsburgh

The top 5 middle schools in Pittsburgh also have ratings of 9 out of 10. Avonworth Middle School is part of the Avonworth School District located in the Riverview Park neighborhood. Next on the list is Dorseyville Middle School in the Fox Chapel Area School District. It’s followed by Mellon Middle and Jefferson Middle Schools, both being part of Mt. Lebanon Park neighborhood. To complete the top, there is North Hills Junior High School in the North Hills Schools District.

5 Top High Schools in Pittsburgh

Out of the 5 high schools in Pittsburgh, two have a rating of 10 while the other three have a rating of 9, 8 and 7, respectively. The best high schools are Fox Chapel Area and Upper Saint Clair High Schools — the former is located in the Alcoma Three Lakes neighborhood and the latter is part of the South Park neighborhood. Next on the list is Avonworth High School, with a rating of 9, in Riverview Park. North Hills Senior High School has a rating of 8 and is also located in the Riverview Park neighborhood. Finally, with a rating of 7, Baldwin Senior High School is part of the Baldwin-Whitehall School District in Mt. Lebanon.
