Atlantic Station is an urban neighborhood in the heart of Atlanta, GA, bordered by Loring Heights and Home Park. It was developed in 2005, and it is known as a live-work-play community with office buildings, townhomes, apartments, entertainment venues, and retail spaces. The zone spread out to the point where it was given its own ZIP code: 30363.
The walkable neighborhood that covers 138 acres of land is made up of three areas: The District, The Village, and the Commons, each with its own vibe. Atlantic Station was designed to feature mostly energy-efficient buildings and to reduce air pollution by keeping things within walking distance of each other.
The main road to access the Atlantic Station community is 17th Street, which is located over I-75/85 Downtown Connector highway. The area offers a free shuttle that operates every 5-15 minutes to the Arts Center MARTA rail station and the 110 Peachtree St. MARTA bus route. There are designated bike lanes and a bus lane along the 17th street corridor.
