Great place to live

I thought the pool was heated? If it isn't, I don't think I should have to pay for it or turn on the heat like a resort-style pool.

Decent

The West Edge is an awesome place to live. I Love how close-knit of a community we have here and t. Sometimes I wish we had some better amenities such as a sauna, free weights, and free underground parking for the price we pay per month. Overall I am happy to live here and the people I have met.

The West Edge -- Almost 1 Year Update

I submitted a review some months ago back when I had only lived here 3-4 months. This post is an update to that review. Value -- The West Edge has decided to raise its rent terms roughly $100 or so, depending on certain factors. I was one of the people who had a raise in rent in this range. I already felt that The West edge was probably on the higher end of rent for what are supposed to be "luxury" apartments, and this just puts us further along that line. I still think it's worth the value, but if rent were to go up again the next year around, I would probably start considering other housing options, unless they add other perks to being a West Edge resident, or possibly increase/update the available amenities. Maintenance -- Maintenance requests are handled in a timely fashion and I have no complaints here. Noise -- I work an off-shift so part of my decision making comes from the expected noise levels of where I live. While the area continues to be fairly quiet most hours, there are a number of younger residents that tend to throw parties or gatherings that don't seem to have much respect for quiet hours or their neighbors. This is sporadic, but happens enough I've had to complain. Amenities -- I feel the amenities are adequate, when they work. The trash chutes seem to break pretty often, that should probably be addressed. I would like to see some additions to the amenities, like being able to utilize our icemakers in the fridges, or a community amenity like a sauna would be cool. Management -- Management generally does a great job of sending out event notifications and updates on things being done in the apartments themselves. They're quite friendly and willing to explain/talk through any questions you have.
