Schutte Building

This is a very old building and rent is very expensive for what is offered. It is nice to be downtown, withinf walking distance of a lot of local restaurants. Rent goes up every year though maintenance requests are not met. Paint on the windowsill chips from water from windows, leaving the wood underneath to mold, and still the rent goes up. We love the location but rent is very high for a one bedroom (feels like a studio).

Well Maintained Historic Building in Great Location

The property manager clearly values the history of this building and does a good job of maintaining it. Parking is easy in the disconnected garage. The location is great and the other tenants are professional. The only negative I have has to do with the windows of the apartments on historical faces of the building. For historical reasons or otherwise, these large windows are single pane glass. This results in sound pollution inside of the apartments, and fogging happens during the winter - even freezing up the windows at times.

Amazing

Just moved to Manitowoc a few months ago and I love this building. Great character and charm. Walking distance to everything. Pricing is very fair. I would highly recommend!

Nice and Quiet

I really like my apartment. Despite being downtown it is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings.
