Gone downhill. Nothing is maintained.

Long time resident. No longer has onsite management. Common areas are filthy. There are only 2 coin operated washers/dryers for 16 units. You are lucky if one of the machines is working. Hallways are vacuumed/cleaned maybe once a month, it used to be weekly. Snow & ice are not cleared from parking lot, driveways & walks for days. Slip/falls are common in winter. A bucket of salt used to be supplied by the doors, but that stopped. There is no snow shovel onsite. If there was, I know many residents would help clear snow. We live here because the rent is cheaper than other rentals in the area. I'm embarrassed to tell anyone I live here. And use caution if you ask for maintenance inside your unit........you will receive a rude text message from the property manager. If you're lucky, he will remember to call someone to make a repair. Not sure if he knows how to actually fix anything himself. If you can't afford anything else, it is a roof over your head. If you can afford a little more, go somewhere else.

Gone downhill

Lived here a long time. It used to be a great place. Everything was well maintained, grass cut, snow cleared, water softener working and all the washer & dryers were functioning. Not anymore. I'm embarrassed to tell people where I live. There is no maintenance or property manger on sight and it shows. Can't remember the last time the 2 washers & 2 dryers were all working at the same time. Two sets of washers & dryers is inadequate for 16 apartments, so this is not a perk. The grass gets cut whenever & clippings are left all over the sidewalks. The sidewalks rarely get shoveled or salted. If there was a shovel, may of us would do it ourselves! I have fallen on the ice twice this year just going to my car. If you do reach out for maintenance, the gentleman in charge of that will argue with you so things get left undone. Rent keeps going up every year and I get that, but it would be nice to get a little service for that yearly increase.
