Stefan, the maintenance manager here, has a saying he loves to say: "I handled that right away." And you'd think this is a good thing, until you realize his definition of "right away" ranges between 3 business days to several weeks. There was broken glass that I reported to him every day for over a week while he ignored it. It took three days just to get a new microwave (over the week, by the way). It took four days for Stefan to clean up poop when someone (yes it was human poop, so you know the neighbors are to the same quality as the management) pooped all over the back staircase. They don't do their jobs. They use the system to intimidate tenants who speak up. Bona Vista is, by far, the worst property management company I've ever lived under. I would chose homelessness over renting with them again, and it would appear that much of Seattle agrees.
