First year tenant experience - plus and minuses

Generally happy, certainly much more than my family's last experience. Frequent external noise is nothing unreasonable given the location of community and unit. Neighbor noise unfortunately is a major disruptive issue affecting quality of life. Pool unusable toward end of summer was also disappointing. Windows in 3 rooms LEAKING. Have notified office but seen no action to fix or even investigate.

Great place to live so far

I've been living in this apartment complex for about a month. I really love it. I'm super close to mount trashmore, about 20 mins from the naval base, 20 mins to the beach, and the grocery store is right around the corner. The only thing is that it's close to Independance Blvd and the traffic could wake you up in the middle or the night if you're a light sleeper. Staff is super friendly and were very kind to me. The maintenance guys are awesome. Parking is pretty good. I kinda don't like that I have to park my motorcycle in the same spot but it's not to bad.

Came back a second time

My husband and I lived here before but had to move do to a military PCS. Three years later we were coming back to this area and immediately contacted the office here to move back in. I wish the fitness room would get an update but this is a great apartment complex. Close to everything yet quiet. I walk to the grocery store and have Mt Trashmore as a neighborhood playground, fitness area and community spot. The staff is friendly and very efficient, maintenance is superb. For all that we have here and close by this is the best value for your wallet in the Hampton Roads area!
