My 3-year residence at 5 West Broad Street is incomparably fantastic! I was born in Richmond and have lived in Winston-Salem NC, Milwaukee WI, Syracuse NY, New Orleans LA, and Arlington VA - and, returning to my birthplace has been most enjoyable! I am now truly only steps away from where I was born - the august and storied Medical College of Virginia. I love the free Richmond transit system that allows me to explore all over the city to purchase any necessary amenities and supplies. My neighborhood is bicycle-friendly - and, I adore walking around the block for my daily constitutional. The quaint cobblestone alley at my back door between Broad and Grace streets literally breathes and resonates with Richmond history - with a probable installation date in the 1850s. Virginia's heart of government and capital building, city hall, police headquarters, libraries, museums, eateries, grocers, and Virginia Commonwealth University are all only a stroll away from my back door. I adore my home with its hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and exposed plumbing! My guests never cease to be amazed and amused over this decorator touch!

Residing at downtown Richmond's 5 W Broad Street is adult life well-lived with every amenity necessary for either high maintenance or minimal maintenance. Colleges and medical school, theaters, hotels, eateries, cute re-sale shops and boutiques, and grocery stores abound. Tired old Richmond is constantly in flux and mired in ongoing gentrification with re-purposed, historically protected warehouses providing living spaces. Families with children are still flocking to the suburbs for lawn care and PTA meetings. Young and not-so-young adults are left to take full advantage of a unique city life that concentrates on individual improvement and entertainment. This location rocks!
