Except for onsight patking living here is excellent andvin an excellent location . Having said that, there is plenty of garage parking within walking distance for a monthly fee.

After eight years of living here and suffering through lack of heat in the winter, lack of water when there was a big event in the building and a complete lack of responsiveness from the building management, we are leaving. Now with cut backs in security and a lack of urgency when the front door lock was broken and the door open to the street for several days, it no longer seems safe. Good luck if you live here.

Me and my partner have lived here for almost 4 and a hlaf years now. There’s definitely been some ups and downs living here but i will say i always felt safe here and you cant beat the location. Ive seen atleast 4 new property management since ive lived here and for the most part all of them have been kind. I think the only downside to living here is that there are no parking options and you would have to figure out which garage you want to choose that is closest to the building which can be pretty expensive.

I have lived here for 9 months as a travel health care provider. The location is absolutely ideal as it takes me only 10-15 minutes to walk to work. I park my car in one of the assigned lots/garages provided by VCU Hospital, but there are plenty other garaged with monthly fees if needed. Everything I could possibly need is within walking distance so I rarely even need my car except for bi-weekly grocery shopping. The amenities at The John Marshall are fantastic... Mail, room, Barber shop, Gym, Laundry, Secure key-card entrance and elevator card access, Security Guard on site and notification of secured Amazon package arrival, There are plenty of local restaurants within walking distance, concert halls, theaters, live performances of all kinds, a post office, banks, libraries, museums and AMTRAK station! The city is diverse ethnically and plenty of people out walking and conversing during the evening hours. I live in a study apartment high up and the views are amazing. I definitely recommend like staying here and think you would too.

The only nice thing about living here is the location. The building gets dusty. The HVAC system is always broken. There's always water being shut off due to plumbing issues. really overpriced for what you get.
