Great location and value

We've lived here for nearly two years and we love our apartment. The amount of storage space is incredible and you get a lot of square footage for the price. We love all the sunlight we get through the large windows and so do our cats. The staff are friendly and helpful and maintenance issues are always addressed promptly. The location, within walking distance to the metro and so close to 66 and 495, is amazing.

Maintenance rain leak

AT 4 AM THERE WAS A LEAK FROM THE ROOF BECAUSE OF HEAVY RAIN. CALLED EMERGENCY AND RENE, THE GREAT MAINTENANCE GUY CAME IN HALF AN HOUR LATER...REALLY AMAZING.... I LEFT WHILE HE WAS STILL FIXING THE LEAK. AT MY RETURN EVERYTHING WAS DONE. THANK YOU ALL!

Commons of McLean: Pleasant.

I have lived in the Commons of McLean for about 9 months now. Prior to this I was in a high-rise apartment on the 8th floor with underground parking (a parking spot was extra, and visitor parking was extra too). I am pleased with my choice. The Commons has a much better community feeling than the high rise. I have met and become friends with several neighbors, On occasion sharing coffee/ tea and even meals. On the rare occasions of having guests... open parking... no bothersome going to the lobby to register and pay for guest parking!! Safeway with a good selection just across the road. A few hundred feet for me to walk! :-) When I travel; Easy to "Get out'a-town" West on Rte50/Rte29 or I-66. Or, when headed into town... easy walk to the metro and NOT drive into the DC congestion.
