Whispering Oaks

very good location but the management and maintenance company is not good at all. Noises from the hallway can be heard in all the apartments. Trash is left in the hallway waiting to be picked up and not picked up for days. During spring, with the temperature changes, the apartments can get above 80 degrees and the AC is not turned on until mid May. All in all, very nice apartments but not a pleasant experience.

I’ve been in this building 3 years and the wow factor is a consistent fade away. Everything nice thing is undermined ny the poor quality. Im sire it was nice the first couple weeks after installation. Unfortunate that future residents will never know. And maybe let the resident know if the radaitornis right outside of there bed room window so they have the choice of wether the want to listen tonthat aggressive noise throught the whole day for 6 months?

I really do enjoy living at Whispering Oaks. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION is right. I can get to Maryland, DC, or Virginia within minutes. However, a lot of building around me have much fancier amenities, like a swimming pool. A swimming pool would be nice at the very least, the building only has a gym and valet trash, which for now I will be grateful for. But if this ever gets read, build a pool! Management is amazing at the unit also.

My main concerns are that management is not very responsive and maintenance comes fairly quick but doesn't actually fix anything. They come by and tinker but don't resolve issues. There's also no enforcement of rules- noise, smoking, trash in hallways, loitering in parking lot- these are all continuing issues.

I only live here because of the location. I could get a significantly better experience elsewhere for the same money.
