I came here October 2021 after checking out 20 locations. I loved that it had ALL amenities and then some. Harris Teeter, Target, TJ Maxx, DSW, and many great restaurants in the same building, but I was sold when I learned that the indoor pool is heated year-round. The location is very well served by public transportation. I was pleasantly surprised that having the Blue and Yellow lines meant that I could reach both West and East DC very quickly. DCA is two stops (10 minutes) away, while IAD is 45 min when you connect to the Silver line. Such perks don't come cheap. Maintenance is quick and responsive. Garage parking ought to be free to residents since it's almost always half empty but they charge a monthly fee. Pet fees for dogs are the same as for cats despite them being way more destructive (not fair, meow!). The Pentagon City mall offers even more ways to spend money, Whole Foods, Costco, Marshalls, Best Bu, USPS, and UPS are all within 10 minutes walk. I opted not to get a car thanks to everything being walking distance and I can always rent a cheap car at Avis next door. The added perk is that everything is connected underground, so you can get to the mall and metro station from inside the building's garage without setting foot outside, which is great when it is raining and you're carrying stuff. oh, and the buses to Clarendon and Columbia pike stop at the building's entrance. for example, service to Trader Joe's in Clarendon is literally door-to-door.

Elevator buttons don't work. Some elevators and escalators don't work at all. Management keeps making little "oops" charges on the statement. Building is starting to show its age and staff act like you are annoying them if you contact them. I definitely regret having signed a lease here.

Living here for almost a year. Excellent location, close to DC activities. Great value for your money. We looked at many apartments in the area, and couldn't find better that this one. Variety of restaurants and stores in walking distance. Very friendly staff, responsive to our requests. Recommended to all categories of residents.
