I've lived here since Nov 2024. I like most everything about The Ridge. The staff are friendly, maintenance responds quickly to work orders, and the parking garage is nice. I feel it's a good value for what I pay. I'd like a ceiling fan installed in the bedrooms to help with air flow throughout the apt and reduce the need for electricity to run the AC, however, The Ridge management will not approve my request despite being willing to pay for it myself. My apt is on the 2nd floor and there's lots of wind most of the time, so I have to keep my windows and balcony doors closed. It gets a bit stuffy in the apt as a result. The 3rd and 4th floors are probably way worse!! Ceiling fans would definitely be an "upgrade"!! Starting in July, I've expressed multiple concerns about the landscaping and lack of sprinkling. Trees, shrubs, bushes and grass was dying throughout the property. Once they started watering, things started to green up. In areas, the dead grass was replaced with sod. Then in July, for some unknown reason, they quit watering. The newly replaced sod died, the grass, trees, shrubs and bushes started looking bad again. I again put in a maintenance request about the landscaping and lack of sprinkling. In areas, the dead sod was again replaced, however, as of Aug 1, there is still areas that sod was being installed that is still not complete. I expressed concern about the beds still having dead leaves from the fall/winter and weeding, trimming and shaping was needed throughout the property. Lastly, I expressed concern about a lot of visible dog poop everywhere! This is despite The Ridge providing poop bags and containters to dispose of them in throughout the property. If the poop clean-up task isn't the responsibility of the landscapers, maybe The Ridge could contract with someone to take care of this task and residents who own dogs assessed an additional fee to pay for this service. Dog poop is unsightly!!

I've lived here 3 months. My apt has a great view. My fellow residents have been mostly quiet, hopefully that will continue once spring arrives and my windows are open for fresh air. Work Orders have been promptly fixed by maintenace. The office staff is very responsive to questions. I like living here and feel it's a nice place to live.
