It's one excellent place but it is a little expensive.
For price needs better amenities
Comparing the rent to other places nearby, the amenities need some work. Tiny, outdated gym that barely has any equipment. No space to gather other than the pool. Please consider adding a trash can for the property.
Modern, overpriced, great location, no parking
Rivers edge is in a great location, perfect for anyone eantong to be close to everything but not in the middle of it all. The staff has always been kind and helpful,, from the office administrators to the maintenance workers. I have lived at rivers edge for 2 and half years, and in that time, my remt has increased $600 which i belive to be a little absurd. As wonderful as the location is, parking is truly an issue that needs to be looked into. Its unfair ro ask a tenant to pay nearly $2k a month for a one bedroom only to have to walk from up the street in the dark most nights. There wre often cars blocking the entrances and crowding the paths of the parking lot due to lack of parking.

Gary is fantastic! Other than that the place is so so... The view is beautiful but the quality is poor and poorly built! The noise through the windows especially is absurd!! Sound carries through as if there are no windows!! NOT PEACEFUL!
I like it
I've only been here for a month or so and my experience is pretty positive. It's very close to where I work. You can walk or bike to a number of very cool places for exercise or food and drink. The vibe is pretty laid back. There are obvious students living here but they are the older graduate students, I believe. Not a lot of rowdy parties. Parking isn't the best but it's manageable. The only maintenance issue I've had so far was a frozen ice maker(imagine that) and they came the next day and fixed it quickly. The grounds could be better. The shrubs and trees are of two varieties. They are either totally overgrown and out of hand or they are struggling to grow at all. Grass is another issue as well but with so many dogs urinating on the grass it isn't surprising. I'm not hating on dog owners. My dog is one of them. It's just an observation. Like I said. I'm happy and comfortable here and feel safe at night. Thumbs up!
