The Ironwood Apartments Review

I have lived her for 11 months, and have renewed my lease for another 12 months already. I love living here for so many reasons, but here are a few: the location is amazing for convenience and leisure and safety, good amenities, kind neighbors, plentiful parking, and it is fairly easy to get help around here between staff and maintenance. I have not had many issues at all, but when I have maintenance has always shown up within 24 hours.

Review

residents here litter a lot and don't pick up after their dog. Mail room is a disastrous system. It's too far from the other buildings especially to transport multiple packages or bulky packages. Delivery is often done carelessly, sometimes with no proof of delivery, most often times packages placed in the wrong area amongst piles of packages, looking for them is a nightmare. room too small. 2nd building needs its own delivery room, it has it's own address so that should be reasonable. I don't know why we are paying for the package room service and get something worse than if we live in our own house. Elevators are broken every month. Guest parking spaces are either limited or unaccommodating.

Cleanliness of grounds and office commuications

Since I moved in 3 weeks ago, i have encountered the following: 1. Feces in the elevator (urine and blood) and outside on the grounds. Feces were left in the elevator over 2 days - still might be there 2. Broken glass, garbage and rotting vegetables in the stairwell - never picked up or cleaned 3. someone parking their car in front of the trash compactor making it difficult to access and place garbage as required. I have sent two emails to the office and have gotten ignored with no reply. I politely have asked if they could send something out regarding keeping our grounds safe, clean and healthy versus having to step over glass, feces and garbage in and out of building 2. No reply. I had read reviews before i moved in regarding this very problem and lack of response from the office and had been hoping that maybe it was from a former management company. Residents pay good money to live in a clean and healthy place and its disappointing to not only have to encounter these issues but to bring them forward to office staff only to be ignored. It shows us that they do not care about the grounds or about resident concerns.
