We moved into Stono Oaks two years ago. The 2BR apartment is spacious, the (second floor) ceilings are high. Kitchen equipment - fridge, stove, dishwasher - are decent. (Dishwasher is noisy, though - don't run it before going to bed.) Parking is plentiful, I use the EV charger. (The price is $.27/kWh.) A big plus is the proximity to downtown, and - at rush hour in the morning - you don't have to sit in traffic on Maybank Highway to cross River Road. You can walk to the Food Lion, there is a CVS very nearby. Even though the complex is visible from Maybank, and there is a lot of traffic, you don't hear anything in my unit. I do hear the construction and feel the vibrations of the big new low-income housing project going up on Eunice Robinson Drive. I guess that will go on for a few years. Maintenance requests are handled promptly.

Benn at Stono Oaks one year. I like it. Attractive campus. Close to downtown. Well-maintained. Spacious apartments. Grocery store next door. One complaint: the EV chargers don't work all the time. It’s been weeks now since the one nearest to my unit has been functional.
