Experience an elegant fusion of history and luxury at the Lofts of Greenville. The remnants of Monaghan Mill are incorporated into each of our 194 units. Huge, arched windows illuminate the exposed brick walls and acid-treated concrete floors.
Stretching almost eighteen feet up, guests are awed by the exposed structural timbers and tongue-and-groove ceiling beams.

Beautiful units

After a year and half of living at the Lofts, the units are beautiful, I love the historical ambiance of exposed brick walls, high ceilings, tall windows and pretty views, the neighbors are great, I love the dog friendliness of community, the location is great. The downside to living in an old building is that when something breaks, in this era of supply chain issues, it stay broken a long time. As a single woman, I moved in here large part because the property was gated and felt secure. The gates have now been broken most of this past year and at times, even a door into the building was unlockable. Recently, water to the entire building was disconnected during the day for nearly a week due to roots invading a pipeline that had to be repaired, the last 48 or more hours of that week, water to the tenants was turned off completely, with only a last minute's emailed notice, insisting no one flush toilets or try to run water. The "organic garden" was moved from the back of the building to the front, tearing up the front lawn, installing "tubs" (cattle troughs) as raised beds with piles of dirt and stone throughout the area becoming weed covered and diminishing curb appeal for the entire front of the building. The reasoning was to take the previous space at the back of the building for future public parking for a commercial artist space? Or, was it a brewery? We've heard several versions. Areas have been torn up over this past year, but actual construction has yet to start. Given the significant increases in rent this past year, this has become more than annoying. That said, it's still a nice community of neighbors, very quiet, yet social at the pool and dog park, definately nice for singles or couples of all ages, if you don't mind the inconveniences, above.

Absolutely recommend

I love living in such a spacious apartment. The location is great if you love to walk or bike. Like all apartments dogs are occasionally bothersome (even though I enjoy dogs). My favorite amenity is the garden. The pool and the pool area are great. I take advantage of the storage units available - not something you find everywhere.
