It would be nice to have proper maintanance and proper communication. It took 28 days to get my mail box keys for that i went to office multiple times.

Offer things that they can't provide

They get you in there and then tell you oh our pools don't work and then you're in there and your air conditioner doesn't work since you moved in and there's just all the other maintenance issues that don't get addressed

Reasonably priced conveniently located apartments

I have lived at Roper Mountain Woods since the fall of 2012. The apartments are older and my only complaint is that they don't offer any updates to the renters' apartments, especially those of us who have lived here for a number of years. For example, the lining of the sink in my bathroom is peeling and though I have requested repairs, the only thing I get is the sink being sprayed or painted and, of course, it peels and I'm back to the original issue. I would also like some new flooring as there is a lot of wear and tear on the cheap carpet. The staff is not very attentive to the residents and often one needs to leave a few voicemails to get an answer to an issue. The communication to residents has improved, thankfully, so that we know what's going on in the community.
