This apartment is a nice apartment with responsive staff, in some ways it could be considered luxury, in others it's not. My biggest issues with the complex is that it is very dog heavy, and the ceilings/walls are insanely thin. This creates issues with hearing neighbors, as my upstairs neighbor is insanely loud, waking me every morning from 7-9am. Talking to next door neighbors, they can also hear the people above mine due to the loudness/thinness of the walls and ceilings. The staff won't do much about it as well. Aside from the noise, it is a very nice complex.

If you're looking for a community with great customer service, The Porter is the place for you! Maintenance and leasing are friendly and responsive. If they're not able to get something done right away, they will keep you updated. Building is just a couple minutes from King Street and the Ravenel Bridge.
