5 Star Property!

I've been at 655 for almost a year. I can count on one hand how many times I have heard anything from another apartment which is amazing. It's so quiet. I love the people, the convenience and the security the locked outside doors provide.

Conveniently Located but very Noisy

The apartment itself is not too bad, a little expensive for what it is. The location is convenient to downtown and makes a lot of things accessible. The negatives of living at 655 East Bay include the parking and the noise. There seem to be enough parking spots for the exact number of apartments. However, more often than not, there are no more parking spots after 9/10pm each night. We are also required to pay $75/month for parking so we should be guaranteed a parking spot regardless of the time we try to park. Some tenants have brought this up to the leasing office but so far nothing has been done about it. Cars are parking in the disability spots and on the side where there is no parking. Another issue with the complex is the noise. The walls and ceilings are not very soundproof and I can hear conversations. Additionally, I can hear every step and noise that comes from my upstairs neighbor all hours of the day. I have mentioned this to the leasing office as well but all I was told was that I need to file a report. But would I be taken seriously if my complaint was that the tenant has a heavy step?
