The location, apartment itself, maintenance team, parking, and overall day-to-day living is really great, but basic. Not a lot of amenities and no real bells/whistles/frills.

It has been a lovely experience to rent at Walnut on the Park. It's quiet, well maintained. I don't have any noisy or problematic neighbors. Any maintenance requests are answered promptly.

I moved to the apartment in Sept. 2022, so I haven't been here long. The apartment is fine overall. We are right up against 376, so it can get noisy in our living room with honking and loud engines. Other residents do not seem to make any excessive noise, though, which is appreciated as many appear to be college students. I have a dog, so the location works well being able to walk into Schenley and walk around Squirrel Hill on fairly quiet streets. It would be neat if the apartment was able to provide some dog poop bags, though it is not expected.
