Renters at this property appreciate the excellent location, which is very convenient for students and close to universities. They value the well-maintained building with lots of character, and the range of amenities, including a gym, free coffee/cocoa machine, protected mail room, outdoor spaces with grills, and in-unit washers and dryers. The staff and maintenance team receive high praise for their responsiveness and friendliness. Residents also enjoy the sense of community, cleanliness of common areas, and special events such as holiday gift wrapping stations and food trucks. Overall, renters are very satisfied with their living experience and the quality of the apartments.

Area is very nice, but the cost is far too much for incredibly persistent noise issues (people next door, above, trains, etc.) of which there was zero warning about. It has been a lukewarm experience thus far.

Shadyside Commons is a wonderful place to live. The apartments are beautiful, with beautiful old brick walls and wooden ceiling, yet modernized amenities. The management is wonderful and attentive. The location is incredible.

I love the location and amenities of the apartment. However, the noise from upstairs and downstairs is unbearable. The noise comes not only from the neighbors but also from the apartment itself (wooden floor/ceiling).
