The natural industrial look makes these apartments the perfect lofts. The huge factory stye windows let in so much natural light, and the extra tall ceilings make the loft feel so spacious. Great parking options too.

Climate control is included in the rent but your electric bill will be steep from having to run space heaters or fans to keep a reasonable temperature. Extremely hot in the summer because the blinds installed do next to nothing to keep the sun from beating directly into the home for most of the day. Extremely cold in the winter because the windows are old and very drafty. The building-controlled heating and cooling barely puts a dent in it. Heating/cooling being included in the price of rent was a huge deciding factor when I was budgeting for my rent when I chose to live here, but I’m spending just as much or more on electricity to keep the temperature even palatable.

Pros: Laundry room is clean and well maintained. Having an elevator in the building is very convenient. Lofts staff are nice and helpful. Parking in the garage is convenient and ensures that my car battery won’t die from the cold weather in the wintertime. Having a dishwasher is a game-changer! Cons: Temperature control is subpar. The windows are very old and poorly maintained, very drafty in the winter. The blinds are insufficient at blocking the sun so in the summer it is extremely hot. Also most of the windows don’t open so I can’t get a breeze (plus I have to keep the blinds closed anyway to try to block out the sun). Space heaters are inefficient because my walls don’t reach the ceiling so heating my space eats up a lot of electricity. The apartment is extremely noisy because it is directly adjacent to the train tracks, it feels like my apartment is shaking when a train passes.

Extremely loud and there has been a substantial leak in the ceiling from faulty plumbing in the unit above for approximately 2 weeks that management says there is nothing they can do about as the plumbing in the unit above is not their responsibility.

Aesthetically these units are very nice. However, the actual quality is extremely low and the units are so incredibly loud.

Extremely loud. Studio unit shares a wall with a bend in the trash chute, so you will hear extremely loud crashing noises as trash is disposed from above floors at all hours of the day, from as late as 130AM to as early as 430AM. The studio unit is also directly above the loading dock and dumpsters, so the entire unit shakes when trash is collected. The walls are incredibly thin, so much so that nails from neighboring units will poke through your wall and you can hear all conversations even at normal speaking volume. Staff are incredibly kind and professional; however, they have repeatedly stated nothing can be done about these noise issues, so I highly discourage anyone from renting the studio unit here.
