I’ve lived here for about 3 years, and it’s wonderful living in the heart of Squirrel Hill with a great Walnut Capital community of mostly young professionals and grad students. I had never lived in an apartment complex before where I became friends with my neighbors! There’s lots of foot traffic to Davis playground so it’s a calm area but not too quiet. The maintenance team responds to my requests within a few business hours. Hempstead Road provides everything I need for a comfortable lifestyle without fancy amenities that I wouldn’t use. My dog loves walking around the neighborhood and into Schenley Park. I especially love the annual block party with food trucks. I don’t have any problems that make me consider moving.

I moved to the area a year ago and this is my second apartment. While my last place was cheaper and bigger, I am very happy with this upgrade. The management has been wonderful and responsive, the location is perfect for a young couple that enjoys being outside and isn't *too* into night life, while enjoying a nice drink. The apartment is priced a little on the high end, but the location, aesthetic, and services make up for it.

So this will now be me entering my third year with Walnut Capital on Hempstead street. Wow, living here has just been so great. Whenever anything is wrong, the awesome macitence people are there in no time. I have absolutely loved living here, they have taken care of us and the property so well. I have zero regrets about living here.
