I have lived here for three years and my rent increases by $100 each year. I can't afford the utilities. I have a one bedroom apartment and my electric bill for the past two months was $250.

I have lived at 201 Stanwix street for 3 years. I have always paid my rent on time, and caused no problems. Our HVAC bill is unreasonably high. I miss the doormen because why did my rent go up if the staff went down? ... And packages keep getting stolen. Someone really needs to clear out the package room - send out a notice to residents to pick up packages by a certain date so the room can be decluttered and abandoned packages can be dealt with (There is a red rocking chair that has been sitting in there for 2.5 years). The policy's aren't always very clear - for example we aren't allowed to put up signs in the elevator - OR on the notice board downstairs?! There needs to be a notice board for the residents - A way to communicate with one another about furniture for sale, the need for a pet sitter, etc. I hate that we only have one accessible door to enter into - I wish that was different - when we had a doorman people could use the turning doors during daytime hours - and I wish that was re-instated because we need a key fob to get on the elevator anyway. I wish there was a designated food drop off location for when you order delivery as well. I think since I have less amenities now vs. when I first moved here I don't understand the hike in rent costs. I do think there should be bonuses sent out to residents who pay their bills on time - instead of renting out cheaper apartments and inevitably evicting people - treat the people you have nice and you will have a maintained source of revenue.

I've lived at 201 Stanwix since moving to Pittsburgh (1.5 years), and really enjoy the location, the views, and the spaciousness of my unit. The price is comparable to other units you can find in the downtown area, but its location away from busier streets makes it very quiet at night. Maintenance requests are fulfilled quickly, and it is easy to get in touch with the property management team.
