I am happy that I found Solo on Chestnut. The staff is super nice, shout out to Mimi for helping me get setup right away. The rent is affordable given the location and amenities provided. I not only feel safe, I am also comfortable with access to food/groceries, transportation, entertainment and anything else I need.

This building is very nice, new, and well-maintained. The management sometimes ignores your problems if you don't bother them though, and the surrounding neighborhood is shady and dangerous. There is also a ton of construction in every direction. The 21 bus stops right by the building though which is nice.

Management is super nice and flexible. The location is convenient getting to and from center city. Just a 10-20 minute bus ride away.

I lived here for a year and going onto my second. The staff are super friendly, the cleaners clean every morning, the maintenance is on top of their work. As for the amenities, I dont use them frequently. Noise wise: its a pretty noisey street with siren police car sounds (welcome to philly). I live on the 7th floor so anytime anyone is on the roof its banging on top of my head. But other than that, solo pretty much feels like a home to me.

I love living at Solo. As for the categories above, I gave the parking at 3 because the parking lot is very expensive to reserve a spot and parking outside is hit or miss. I also gave the location a 4 instead of a 5 because the location is very convenient in the heart of the city and not far from most places, but that also means that there is constant new construction and I hate having to walk/drive through the new construction. The noise is fine, I've never had a complaint. The staff are AMAZING! They really try to be as helpful as possible and make living easy. It's always kept clean. The amenities are amazing, there's a dog area, beautiful rooftop, study rooms and lots of entertainment areas. Overall I am very impressed.
