Great experience with renting this property

I've been living here for a few years and it's not what it used to be. The building is falling apart. The washer/dryers are always out of order. There are more and more leaks in the basement where the laundry is. There is no water pressure compared to what the pressure used to be and there is currently a heating issue so the building is cold

I've lived here for 4 years and I'm ready to go. Management has gotten progressively worse, specifically at fulfilling maintenance request. Their communication skills are poor and they are rude to say the least. Additionally, they raise the rent each year and after four years of that it's not worth the cost. There are no amenities and laundry is coin operated...at this point in time they should be upgraded to a card system.

I've lived in my apartment for about 3 months now. My biggest complaint is the noise from the club across the street, but with 32db earplugs and a loud box fan, I'm back to sleeping soundly. Besides the base from the club, the street is pretty quiet - especially during the day. The flip side of being across from the club is that coming home at night is pretty safe because there are lots of people around and usually security at the club door. Maintenance can be a little slow it seems, but I think that's a typical experience. The apartment itself is spacious and has great light. The kitchen is a little small for someone who likes to cook, but I've made it work for me. What it lacks in counter space it makes up for in cabinet space. The other great thing about the apartment is the paint - there is some color on the walls! The kitchen cabinets are a nice medium gray, the walls a pleasant cream, and the bathroom is green. After seeing so many apartments with white and grey everywhere, it was refreshing to see some color. For the price I think this apartment is a great value and I'm happy to be here.
