Generally Happy Resident

I have lived here for over 2 years and overall I am very happy living here. My apartment is very nice, comfortable, and homey and the complex as a whole feels very upscale and luxurious and is very well-maintained. The location is perfect and is very conveniently located to all of the top-notch dining, shopping, and attractions that King of Prussia has to offer. The amenities could not be better, the staff could not be nicer, and the value is perfect. That being said, I do have a few complaints. First, the parking could be better. There have been times where I have come home and have had to spend at least 5 minutes driving around looking for a parking space. This problem is further compounded by residents who get into and turn on their cars to leave but then take their dear old sweet time leaving as well as people who are staying at the Alloy and who park in spots that clearly belong to 251 DeKalb. I would also appreciate if staff would work harder to crack down in inconsiderate, disrespectful, and rude behavior from residents and visitors alike, including driving through and destroying the gate arms, speeding through the complex, people sitting in their cars with their cars running when they can clearly see other people waiting for a parking space, and residents being loud and smoking pot all hours of the day and night. While staff have sent out numerous emails regarding some of these issues, residents appear to be ignoring them and the problems persist. By taking a more aggressive stance to cracking down on these problems, such as installing cameras outside to monitor behaviors in the parking lot and having staff patrol hallways to address issues in the buildings, I believe that most, if not all, of these problems could be resolved. Nevertheless, overall I have been very happy living here and would highly recommend 251 DeKalb to anybody.

Elevated Rent

Rent increases are incredibly high. It has become unaffordable too fast. Almost $200 per year. One year i paid $300 to renew my lease, i couldn’t afford to move so i had to stay & deal with it.
