Briarcrest

Been in the same building for years as water leaks down consistently for 4 years with no repairs. Management and maintenance blame the disabled woman upstairs, and her medical caretaker says there aren’t any visible leaks, running water, or plumping issues in her apartment. No one stays in the apartment because she’s in the hospital most of the year. And her ceiling leaks when it rains; last time I visited, it had a huge brown water stain. They are making superfial repairs and updating some buildings, not others, with HVAC, but everything is a mirage, and the “landlord special” facade breaks down once you move in. Ancient appliances, poor maintenance, and staff play the blame game when anything needs to be replaced instead of “fixed.” Rent goes up every year like clockwork, and the safety deposit doesn’t cover the additional carpet cleaning they want you to do for $200 to $800. You have to give two to six months notice, depending on your lease, before leaving and still paying rent. You won’t get your deposit back, no matter how much you clean. They want two to three months of rent in advance, depending on your income, credit score, and employer.

A Cozy Place to Live in Chocolatetown

Briarcrest Apartments in Hershey is like finding a hidden treasure. The moment I moved in, it felt like home. This community is nestled in the heart of Hershey, often called "Chocolatetown," and it strikes a perfect balance between peaceful living and convenience. The apartments are spacious and well-kept, with all the modern stuff you'd want. The layout makes good use of space, and the inside looks really nice. I especially like the open design that lets in a lot of light. What makes Briarcrest special is the sense of community. The neighbors are friendly, and the management is quick to help with anything. If something needs fixing, they're on it right away. The location is perfect. It's super close to Hershey's cool places like Hersheypark, the Hershey Gardens, and the Hershey Theatre. Grocery stores, restaurants, and parks are all nearby. And the best part? The place is surrounded by trees and really peaceful. It's the perfect spot to relax after a busy day. If you want a comfy, friendly, and well-located place to live, Briarcrest Apartments in Hershey is a great choice. I've loved every moment here and I'm really happy with my decision.
