Lakehouse II at 100 Poplar St has been a great place to call home. The apartments have airy layouts and balconies with panoramic bay views—sunsets are spectacular. You’re steps from the bayfront and just a quick hop to Presque Isle for beaches, trails, and world-class sunset spots like Sunset Point. The neighborhood feels safe and quiet, perfect for evening walks. Downtown perks are a short stroll: Flagship City Food Hall for a mix of local eats, the beautifully restored Warner Theatre for concerts and touring shows, and UPMC Park for a SeaWolves game. On clear nights, I love heading to Bicentennial Tower or the Bayfront Convention Center’s waterfront areas for postcard views of the skyline and bay. Overall, the location, views, and convenience make Lakehouse II an easy yes.

My experience living at lakehouse II has been enjoyable apart from the few inconveniences my roomate and i habe experienced. The parking spot we pay for has been taken on several occasions, management has failed to respond in a timely manner in situations, and maintenance has been unsatisfactory when it comes to longevity of fixing things.
