I've been living here for eight and half years now. The walls are thin, and I can often hear loud music from one of my neighbors in an adjacent unit. Maintenance is generally responsive to service requests, but not always thorough. For example, I put in a work order months ago to have an outdated smoke detector replaced, but the work order was never completed. All that being said, the cost of rent is good, because the complex is subsidized by a USDA Rural Development program. I've looked into other apartments with comparable square footage, but the rent for those usually ends up being double or triple what I'm paying now.
