first tenant in my unit. Top floor. Units look nice. All drawer hardware is substandard and have to be replaced. Dishwasher replaced. Fridge replaced. Lights in en-suite bath were not installed level, looks tacky. Many of the windows have the suction cup marks from the factory that are between the panes and can't be cleaned, tacky. Mechanical noises from roof are constant. Management and staff are great...conveniently located.

You belong here!

I've been here since January 2017. Even though I look around each year at lease renewal time, I have not found a better place, or even one as good, for anywhere the price. Portera is well-suited to the 55+ crowd. The amenities provided for our use are great, and Portera makes weekly use of them to host fun social events for the residents. Wheelchair accessibility is excellent in the apartment, building, property, and neighborhood. Management and staff are friendly and very attentive to residents' needs. The closest I can come to a complaint is the lack of public transit on the weekends and holidays (which, obviously, Portera does not control).
