Why Renters Love It Here
Good
The parking lot is always a problem, because I have to left my car in the street
Great
I enjoy living at the Heirloom. I love to be home.
Well below average value
I moved in when the complex when it was brand new, at at the time it was a fair price, but the staff increased my tent from about $1,500 to about $2,000 for month to month. The staff completely turns around about every 2 months, so residents have to be constantly training the new staff members. Maintenance is very slow to reapond. Also they allow pitt bulls and other aggressive dogs to run off leash without consequences for the owners, so owners of other dogs have to be vigilant. They nickel and dime the tesidents for every last penny, for example; I pay about $120 per month for miscellaneous utilities just for the club house. All in all, it used to be just okay, but now it itsnt worth it anymore. Sad.
Nice place
So far the process has been great. The apartmenrs are nice with upper end feeking finished, big windows with lots od light and spacious rooms. Wish there were slightly more cabinets in the kitchen, and we’ve had a few issues but they’ve mostly been resolved quickly. Overall a positive experience.
Spacious Apartment
I've lived here just over a year and while I am very happy with the space and amenities within my two-bedroom, the property overall has some downfalls. Rent in general is high but for the location, I'm not happy to be paying $2,200 a month before electricity etc. It's right off 82nd, which can be convenient for groceries, some food, and to get on the highway but the area is not desirable or remotely quiet. We're surrounded by car dealerships which hinders the aesthetic and it is generally not a walkable neighborhood or accessible- no elevators or crosswalks! The parking gates or "security system" are finicky at best and frequently broken, which is super inconvenient after 5 PM, considering they don't seem to have any sort of emergency line- not that gets back to you within a reasonable time anyway. Maintenence in general is consistently poor. The staff is LOVELY but overwhelmed. It's a huge community, so I understand wait times, but my bedroom has been down to the studs/unusable since winter because of a leak! If I thought this wasn't pretty much as good as it gets/all I could afford, I'd live elsewhere. Management aside, the actual living space when in full function is very nice for what I need and aesthetically pleasing.
