This was Kings Club, then Rhapsody, and now Trilogy: We live in a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom unit and have been through all the management changes. Our rent has gone up 17% in the six years we’ve been here, and at this point we are paying more each month than new tenants moving into the same type of unit with a free month’s rent. The good is the location, amenities, and the building upkeep. Speaking of upkeep, maintenance by the superintendent is necessary several times a year because things are always breaking in the apartment. Our microwave has been replaced twice, the washer and dryer three times, the cupboards fall off their hinges because they are cheap and can only be tightened, the floorboards lift, scratch, and can dent spontaneously. All of that comes from shoddy workmanship from the beginning and cheap appliances. Maintenance is necessary at least twice a year, as well as frequent AC inspections. They could simply supply filters, but they insist on entering your apartment just to have the HVAC technician replace the filters without even vacuuming the unit. They may or may not wear booties and sometimes leave dirt on your floor for you to clean up. The walls are thin, so you’ll hear your neighbours’ thumping music, dogs barking, children crying, and the garbage chute in use without even trying. Management just spent money they had to spend keeping up the look of the building, but not improving it. You can hardly tell that anything was done. Sometimes the elevator doesn’t work. While you can exit the building, you can’t return to your floor because the stairway doors won’t open to let you in. This can represent a major inconvenience. Long-Term Tenant

I was in severe discomfort due to a footache, and she immediately noticed my distress. Not only did she ensure I was comfortable, but she also went the extra mile by promptly calling 911 to ensure I received the medical attention I needed. Her calm demeanor, empathy, and professionalism turned a stressful situation into one where I felt truly cared for. I cannot thank May enough for her quick thinking and kindness.Thank you once again!”

Pool was constantly over-crowded during the summer. You're supposed to use their app to reserve a time to swim to prevent this, but what good is that if none of the staff are present at the pool to actually verify that people have checked-in? I've also delt with the concierge member that one of the other reviewers mentioned. With the staff overall, it just seems like asking them to do their job is an inconvenience for them. The mantience staff will routinely just not show up on days when they said they would with no explanation. What is the point of using an app with a chat feature built in to request mantience when they never use it to communicate and it's like pulling teeth to get any sort of response or update? Expect a 10-20% rent increase at the end of your lease to top it all off.
