We sold our house in 2015 and moved to the 100 building. There was a wait list as it was one of the better buildings in Cambridge, highest priced with no amenities that other buildings had however it was one of the cleanest, well maintained, great considerate staff, the tenants were predominantly retired but a lot older than us, very nice folks and we blended very well. We have lived here 10 years 7 or 8 very happily. Spent 3 years in unit C 1007 a beautiful 1420 Sq Ft unit 2B, 2B +Den and 9' Ceilings and facing Riverside Park and Speed River. One very nice feature of the building, We had to stretch to meet the high rent so when a cheaper unit B 304 came up we jumped at it. The first 4 years were enjoyable and again, neighbours were great. Even the smaller units are 2B , 2B with 9' ceilings and 1105 SQ FT. Hard to find these days. A big negative is it faces King St. Construction widening the road commenced for a year or more with all day noise, dust, store closings etc,,, Not a pleasant year. Our balcony was lost space and windows and doors closed tight with A/C running 24/7. When it was finally completed we had TRIPLE the traffic noise & congestion. Closed doors, windows and A/C 24/7. Our HYDRO BILLS TRIPLED. A/C units are 10 years past their best before dates, very noisy and grossly inefficient. Killam would not consider replacing them. Balcony off limits. 3 high rises are under construction on the doorstep, 23-15-15 I believe with about 1,500 potential tenants and cars. Roads are gridlocked now so it will be a zoo. My wife and I are approaching 80 so you get no peace & quiet and affected our sleeping, anxiety, depression and enjoyment of life so. We moved to 508 in Dec 2025 to face the river again. Main problem here is rent jumped from $1950 to $2510. On FIXED PENSIONS this is sinking us slowly. Pensions increase 0.3% this quarter, Killam has applied for a 5% increase in rent, 2.7% over legal Ontario limit.They will succeed as usual. Lot more to say, no space

We like our apartment very much and the many friends we've met. I find the communication between admin and residents lacking. Attempts to improve the garbage situation outside go unheard and the parking garage has been closed for a year! Our visitors can not park because both buildings take up all spots. We were told the garage would be fixed in 6 weeks. What used to be a beautiful building is slipping.
