This is my first year living in Beechmont Towers. At this time, I believe my overall experience is fair. First, I love the location, except that at peak traffic times. During peak travel times it is hard to exit or enter the parking lot. Even with that hindrance, the proximity to the highway is a plus and there is plenty of essential shopping nearby to satisfy needs. Second, my actual unit is nice and the staff is responsive. I am in the updated units. I appreciate having in-suite laundry, and a dishwasher. There is no on-site fitness center or pool which is a bit underwhelming for the price point. Speaking on the staff, until it was too late, I have had the experience of my plumbing not being completely installed under my kitchen. One day while cleaning, I walked out of my bedroom towards the kitchen to see the floor flooded with water... Turns out the kitchen trap was not completely installed properly. Which led to electrical kitchen items (blenders, juicers, waffle iron) stored under the sink being destroyed by the water damage. Maintenance was quick to respond and completely installed the plumbing. However, I have not heard one word about my loss of appliances. The third and final point of living at this location, privacy is mediocre. I can hear my neighbors above and below me clearly as they conduct the business of their day. People moving throughout their unit at times has made me think someone was in my unit. If I were to rate the level I can hear them on a 1 to 10 metric where a 10 rating means easily hearing all discussions from another unit, I would say the privacy here is a 4. You can hear enough to impact my opinion of privacy. For me, the location is great and the staff is very responsive and I do appreciate my unit. Overall, the experience has been peaceful as my neighbors seem to be cool!
