You Asked-Do You Really Care?

In my 4th lease, 5th yr lease due in July. NEVER LATE with rent. NEVER BREAK property rules and RESPECT the property. CONSIDERATE of other residents. I am a senior citizen. Not financially able to move at this time. Maintenance decent except for large items that require corporate approval. Been putting in maintenance requests and complaints for 4 years about excess outside AC unit noise. These units right outside my window. Presently they are worse than ever. Management, especially Mia front desk, just give lip service and try to patronize me if I call them with a concern. Mia is the worse. These AC units are never cleaned nor get regular maintenance, no wonder they are running so rough. Now one unit is actually vibrating the walls so bad, it sounds like it will explode. The decibels unhealthy to say the least. Yet again, Mia gave me lip service and a condescending attitude when I called the office. Now rents being raised 5% + with no improvement to individual units to give tenants a better living environment. Big greedy companies set the market which does not have to be followed if you care about people more than money. Would it be so bad to make just millions in profit instead of billions at the risk to people's lives and well-being? This complex can afford parties, food trucks and live music events, but can't fix AC units? Not a good look at all. I am a good tenant with only 2 major complaints that NEVER get resolved. Otherwise, the office never hears from me.

Internal problem

My apartment smells like a sewer due to the hot water tank. Asked maintenance about this issue several times but no one seems to be able to help me.

For existing residents who are considering adding a pet or for new residents joining the community, we’re excited that you will be expanding your family and want to help by bringing some considerations to your attention before doing so.   Two pets per apartment are permitted. Combinations of dogs and cats are permitted. The weight of any individual dog or cat should not exceed seventy-five (75) pounds.  The combined weight of any two (2) animals will not exceed one hundred (100) pounds. Dog breed restrictions include the following:  Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Chows, Doberman Pinschers, German Shepherds, Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Akitas, American Staffordshire Terriers, Great Danes, Perro de Presa Canarios, Wolf Hybrids, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Japanese Tosa or any dog that has any previously listed breed’s lineage. Only commonly accepted breeds of domestic cats are permitted under the Addendum. Pets must be on a leash, controlled by the owner at all times when outside of their apartment Residents are responsible for pet damages within the apartments and outdoor landscaping. Pets must be curbed away from landscaping such as shrubs, flowers, small trees Domestic birds and fish are not included in the pet policy All pets must be spayed or neutered and are not allowed to have offspring while residing in the Apartment. Pet(s) must be housebroken. Immunization records & local licensing laws are required.   Pet Fees: One-time pet fee of $300 and a monthly pet rent of $35 per apartment are required.   Pet Free Buildings: Throughout the community, Buildings are specified as pet friendly and pet-free.  Pet-free buildings are also designated as nonsmoking buildings.  The non-pet, non-smoking buildings are identified as the following: #14
