Edwards Road Apartments

I've been living at The Edwards for about a month. I was impressed by the upkeep and cleanliness of the units. My initial impression held when dealing with the maintenance and office staff. The Gerdsen company feels like a smaller, carefully managed family operation, and everything seems to be done with care and pride. The units are not brand new, but they are well equipped and very well maintained. The building is very secure, having an assigned garage is a great perk, and I have just enough space in the garage and storage room for some of my sports equipment such as my bikes. The laundry rooms are shared by only a few other tenants, so although they are not in-unit, I almost never have to wait to do laundry. The only gripe I really have is that because the units have wall AC units, the can be a bit noisy, not as quiet as central air. The rooms can get a bit warm in the evenings, so I do need to run the AC often. I have yet to experience the winter here. Overall I am happy with my choice, and I think it is good value, especially if you are willing to furnish some of your own amenities to take it to the next level.

Great location near Hyde Park Square

I’ve really loved living here. Yeah, it’s small, but with just being me, I’ve had the space that’s needed. LOVE the garage and having that as part of my stay. The maintenance and staff have always been quick to respond and super friendly and helpful!
